Went to his Celebration of Life at Ken's home in Gladstone, Or and it was at the Rivershore Bar and Grill Oregon City, Or which was about 2 miles away, stayed at the adjacent Best Western so I wouldn't have to get wet after the event! Oregon saves its rain just for me!!!! Every time... sigh...
I shot some pics, mostly of Ken's memorabilia setting about. A few pics of family and friends that I've come to know. I always stopped by when passing thru.
They had a very nice slide show and many pics and movies of Ken throughout his later life. Very well done!
Ken's younger brother Curt.
Oldest daughter Christie.
Youngest daughter Stacie.
We were both USAF folks.
The toilet seat pic was when he was laid up for something, and his "friends" did this for him!
It was a nice crowd that showed up for the send off!
They were all three broken up for one reason or another, his good buddy John on the left and of course, Ken on the right.....
Ken's good friends John and Carol.
There really is a reason for the bar name, Rivershore! Nice place!
I couldn't get the ground floor, they had an elevator, so I took the 4th floor!!!
I like Black Bear restaurants, and got a tickle outta this 50s Chevy truck, you can't make it out but, there are two bears in the truck... Madras, Oregon. It really was a nice truck!
