Xmas '12 Dad and Amy 

Well, it was just Amy and I and I insisted on my Christmas ham!  I wait all year, and, darn it, gotta have it!  It turned out great!  

Amy pasted the special goo on it and we were about to start... We had to put the tators in 20 min early at 400 deg so all would come out done.

Well a little later after the ham went in, I wandered thru the kitchen and it was still 400 , and I said to Amy..... aren't we supposed to lower that to 325?  Mom said so!  GBG

Well we had a fall back plan and it worked out fine!

As you can see the pan was a tad parched!  I'm still trying to get it out, but the ham was perfect!  Tators done, I had made a fruit salad with Cool Whip, got to scrounging around the cabinet and came up with peaches, tangerines, pears, pineapple, and finally remembered the banana!  No cherries for Amy tho..  GBG  She does NOT like them!

Heated up some green beens and about to start...  Mark didn't stay with us but about now he came for a 1/2 hour visit and of course, we waited 'til he left.  I DID do a tad of snacking!  Past my lunch time!

For some reason, I couldn't figger out my timer, so PAS!  Amy about to dig in!

Amy caught me on the blink, I'm real good at that.  Had a great lunch and hope all did also!

Dad - Thanksgiving '12

We had Thanksgiving a day late, KC and Kristi had theirs on Thursday with Kristi's family, and so we "suffered", GBG, and had ours on Friday.

Not to worry, Thursday, I took Mom and Amy to my American Legion post for a free Thanksgiving lunch!!  Price was right and it was good!  We got a twofer! 

I'm double stuffed!  On the cranky machine big time tomorrow afternoon!!!!

Amy wanted leftovers!  24#'s!  We have leftovers!!! And it was very good!

KC was watching the gravy plans, mom was going to do a package mix, and he said, Hey!!!  Let's make it from scratch!   And then the questions came, well how do you do this....  It turned out quite fine!  Kristi helping KC, she is due late Jan/early Feb to have son #2.  Currently Snodpod #2!  GBG

We got turkey and the bananas were going into the fruit salad!  Ink ever interested!

And then Carson woke up!  Great meal, great time and great visit!

Then we walked down to Vista Park so Carson could swing and play, and walk a bit off, sigh...  

Afterwards KC and I had at his battery terminals, the positive bolt snapped and we had to get it out, and both needed an good wire brush and dielectric grease coating.  Got 'er done, clean and tight!  

Sorry Ya didn't get to be home Mike, next year!  Looking forward to it!!!  Take care and love Ya all lots and lots!
